We specialize in fixed hybrid prostheses. Using the latest technologies and materials, Archworks uses digital scanning, CAD/CAM, and 3D printing to create high-quality dental restorations.
We work closely with industry leaders including Zirkonzahn, Straumann, Nobel Biocare, and Ivoclar. We also collaborate with specialists to assist with case planning and streamline procedures to support our clients and enhance patient outcomes.
About us
Archworks Dental Laboratory is a specialty laboratory founded by Rynhard Venter, and operated together with Hai Nguyen. Our focus is on fixed hybrid prostheses manufactured from zirconia as well as other materials. Located in West Linn, Oregon, we also offer chairside conversions and other services in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Texas.
Client relationships are very important to us, and our workplace culture values providing clients with solutions. Our laboratory has established a team-based approach and we work with the surgical team and restorative dentist to provide their patients with the highest level of care at each stage of treatment. We strive to meet each patient's needs and exceed their expectations with quality products and services.
Archworks Dental laboratory is at the leading edge of new technologies and advancements in our field. We use the latest CAD/CAM technology to design and fabricate natural-looking restorations with a functional and comfortable fit. New products are being introduced as technology is developed.
Archworks Dental Laboratory is a member of the National Association of Dental Laboratories.
Rynhard Venter, BSc, LD, CDT
Rynhard has over 20 years experience as a dental technologist, specializing in fabricating implant prosthetics and crown and bridge restorations. He has worked at dental laboratories in South Africa, England, Ireland, and the United States. Rynhard completed his Bachelor's Degree of Dental Technology at Technikon Pretoria in South Africa in 1999, and is a graduate of the denturist program at the International Denturist Education Centre at George Brown College in Toronto, Canada.
He has completed implant and ceramic courses by master technicians Gerard Ubassy and Oliver Brix, at the International Center for Dental Education in Liechtenstein, and Klaus Muterthies at Zirkonzahn in California. He has also attended a number of other courses in England, Germany, and the United States. Rynhard is a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries.
Hai Nguyen
Hai started his career in dental technology over 20 years ago. He worked for Enrico Steger at Zirkonzahn North America and was extensively trained by Zirkonzahn. Hai trained intensely under Alessandro Cucchiaro, head master technician of Zirkonzahn USA, and Salvatore Conte of Naples, Italy. Hai specializes in zirconia bridges, All on 4 implant zirconia arches, and layered ceramics.
Sheika Laird Catahan, ST, RDA
Sheika has worked in the dental field for over 10 years. She is a licensed oral surgery technologist, and she began her dental career at Children’s Medical Center Dallas working with special needs and full-mouth rehabilitation surgery. Sheika has worked with renowned oral surgeons and prosthodontists in the DFW Metroplex specializing in the All-on-4 procedure. She has converted hundreds of fixed prosthetics and assists in chair-side needs for follow-ups. She is BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS certified.
